Juan Mendez and Flora Valera, both born and raised in the vibrant beach town of Palenque, Dominican Republic, built a life rooted in hard work, compassion, and family pride. After marrying, they formed a strong family unit, working the land together and raising five children with the values of integrity and generosity.
The greatest legacy of Flora and Juan goes beyond the land they worked or the businesses they built. It is the enduring impact of their kindness, vision, and dedication to family and community. In Palenque, they remain legends, remembered with love and respect by all whose lives they touched.
